Sharing about sheep

SHEEP Sheep are often reference in the bible and are used to describe our relationship with God. He is seen as a shepherd who looks after us and cares about us and our needs.  There are loads of crafts for making sheep, these are just a few.  We play a game at Jam Packed called 'naughty sheepdog'. It is great fun, though we do end up with some sore knees by the end! It involves most of the children crawling around as sheep, one farmer and one sheepdog. The sheep dog tags the sheep and they roll onto their backs. The farmer has to tag them again to rescue the sheep. It is a game with no winners but a lot of giggles.  It is good to know that the farmer, or shepherd, is there to rescue us when things go wrong. He loves us and knows our names. He wants the best for us, which is to get to know God and be part of His family. He forgives us when we stray and brings us back to the fold with rejoicing. May the good shepherd bless you with good things today.

Old Testament Fun

Old Testament Activity The Bible is divided into two big parts, the Old and New Testaments. These are then divided into books.  Old Testament Activity Ideas There are some very strange names in the Old Testament, including some of the titles of the books. Which is the most normal to you and which the most peculiar? That might be different for someone from a different country. I hope you have fun with the activities.

What this blog is all about.

I am the Children's worker for Pershore Baptist Church and want to create a space to share activities and ideas that you can try at home with your children. This blog will include worksheets, activities, story ideas and crafts with bible themes that should be simple to follow and accessible to families when they are at home. I hope that you enjoy what is provided and are blessed by it. Becca
